Catherine Jamison exams a Coram Rege roll from the Court of King's Bench, which contains a portion of the record concerning the kidnapping of the poet Geoffrey Chaucer’s father. The rolls, numbering 4,135, have not been published or systematically explored. Ms. Jamison is a member the British archival research team hired by University of Chicago faculty members John Matthews Manly and Edith Rickert to work on the Chaucer Project.
