Mr. Ingraham, a pioneer in mass spectrometry, later served as the Samuel Allison Distinguished Service Professor in Physics (1969-1985), and Mr. Gomer became the director of the James Frank Institute (1977-1983), and the Carl William Eisendrath Distinguished Service Professor (1984-1996).
