Bronze tablet in bas-relief of Martin A. Ryerson, philanthropist and president of the University of Chicago Board of Trustees (1892-1922). Mounted at the Grand Rapids Public Library in Grand Rapids Michigan, it commemorates Mr. Ryerson who donated the funds for the building's construction in 1904.
