Description | Charles B. Huggins (2nd left), the William B. Ogden Distinguished Service Professor of Surgery at the University of Chicago. Dr. Huggins founded the university's Ben May Laboratory for Cancer Research, and was the co-winner in 1966 of the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine. He is pictured at the 1977 Nobel ceremony with Robert S. Mulliken (left), with Rose and Milton Friedman (center), and Alexandra and Saul Bellow (right). |
