Lawrence H. Lanzl of Argonne Cancer Research Hospital's department of Radiology, uses mechanical hands to grasp a capsule containing 15 radioactive cobalt wafers. Mr. Lanzl and members of Argonne National Laboratory's Remote Control Engineering Division will prepare the wafers, which will be used in cancer control research, for insertion into a radiotherapy machine.
