Description | University Carillon arrives. A few of the bells of the 90-ton carillon intended for the University of Chicago photographed on the deck of the S. S. American Trader in New York City after their arrival from England. Unloading of the bells began July 26. The Bourdon Bell, weighing 17 tons, is said to be the second largest in the world. |
