II: Buildings and Grounds
Michigan-Iowa football game in autumn. Although Marshall Field gridiron was the home of the Chicago Maroon Football team, it was often leased to other university teams for games in order to raise revenue for athletics and the eventual construction of a stadium in 1913. The photograph was a gift of E. R. Dowing, 23 June 1917.
