Description | Bathing tub, about a yard in length, carved from bedrock and lined with cement. The tank at the left contained water, which would be poured on the seated bather who would sit on the step at the head of the tub. Excavated near the Temple of Poseidon at Corinth by a University of Chicago expedition led by Oscar Broneer. |
