IV: Student Activities
The University of Chicago's Alumni Foundation was initiated 21 October 1939 as part of the university's plans for its fiftieth anniversary celebration in 1941. Six students discussed various phases of undergraduate life on campus before members of the newly launched organization. Among them were Russ Parsons, speaking about athletics, Marjorie Kuh talking about social life, and Fred "Bud" Linden, who spoke about dramatics.
