William Jones, Chicago Real estate investor, justice of the peace, and owner of the hardware firm, Jones, King & Company. Mr. Jones served as a trustee of the Old University of Chicago, and donated funds to construct the south wing of the university buildings, which was named Jones Hall in his honor.
