Amos Alonzo Stagg (right), athletic director, professor of Physical Culture and Athletics, and head football coach at the University of Chicago (1892-1932). He is pictured with Vinson Sahlin (left) who played backfield during the 1931 season and Harlan O. "Pat" Page (center), who coached baseball, basketball, and football at Chicago (1911-1920, 1931-1932), where he played all three sports as a student (1906-1910).
