"The Blind," a plaster maquette by sculptor Lorado Taft. Based on the play Les Aveugles by Maurice Maeterlinck, the work depicts a group of blind men and women who are lost in a forest. The finished bronze piece is at the University of Illinois in Urbana, Illinois.
