Philanthropist and University of Chicago alumnus G. Norman Wigeland (left), Olav V, king of Norway (2nd left), university trustee, Gaylord Donnelley (2nd right), and university president John T. Wilson (right). They are at a luncheon celebrating the dedication of the Andrew E. and G. Norman Wigeland professorship in Norwegian Studies, for which Mr. Wigeland donated $300,000. It is named for him and his late brother, also an alumnus of the university.
