Description | Albert Merritt Billings Hospital, 950 East 59th Street, is one of four hospitals forming the University of Chicago Clinics on the Midway. The medical school at the University is the only one in the world in which all the professors devote their full time to teaching, research, and the care of patients without engaging in private practice outside. Included in the University Clinics, in addition to Billings Hospital, are the Max Epstein Clinic, Chicago Lying-in Hospital and Dispensary, Bobs Roberts Memorial Hospital for Children, and an affiliate, the Home for Destitute Crippled Children. |
