Ancient Texts 3
II: Buildings and Grounds
Scraping away fine particles that have filled the indentations of cuneiform script is the final touch in restoring ancient texts at the University of Chicago's Oriental Institute. The Institute’s scholars have compiled Assyrian and Hittite dictionaries, the first Amorite grammar, and other resource books on the language and history of the Ancient Near East’s inhabitants using texts such as these.
