Carillon Construction 2
II: Buildings and Grounds
Bells for the University of Chicago carillon arrive. Some of the largest of the seventy-two bells for the carillon are to be installed in the chapel of the University of Chicago. These are pictured as they arrive in this country from Europe on the S. S. American Trader. The carillon is a memorial to Laura Spelman Rockefeller, late wife of John D. Rockefeller, Sr.
