From January 1 to December 31, 1966, scientific and cultural events will mark the University of Chicago's 75th Anniversary. George W. Beadle, university president, noted that, "Conditions and Purposes of the Modern University," will be the observance theme. Pictured are several planners: Edward D. Rosenheim Jr., professor of English, and faculty committee chair; Glen A. Lloyd, attorney, university trustee, and trustee anniversary committee chair; and, Charles U. Daly, vice-president of Public Affairs, and Anniversary Year administrator.
