Description | Moliere's "The Misanthrope" will be presented at the University of Chicago's Law School Auditorium from February 4 through February 27, 1966. The University, in collaboration with the Goodman Memorial Theatre, is initiating a program of professional theatre on the campus. John Reich, director of the Goodman Theatre, will direct the production. Barbara Baxley (left), who will portray Celimene, performed in the Actors Studio production of the "Three Sisters" last year in New York and London; and George Grizzard (right), winner of a Drama Critics Circle Award, will play Alceste. |
