Harrisburg Seven 6
VII: Chicago Maroon
Students and other protestors march in downtown Chicago in support of Fr. Philip Berrigan, five other Catholic priests and nuns, and Eqbal Ahmad, Pakistani journalist and anti-war activist. The men and women were charged with conspiracy to kidnap National Security Advisor Henry Kissinger for waging an illegal war in Vietnam. After the charges were filed in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the group became known as the Harrisburg Seven.
