Owen Chamberlain, professor of Physics at the University of California, Berkeley, and winner of the Nobel Prize in Physics, 1959. Dr. Chamberlain studied with Enrico Fermi at the University of Chicago, from which he graduated with a Ph.D. in 1949. He is pictured in his office at Harvard University where he is spending one semester.
