Zero Gradient Synchrotron 10
II: Buildings and Grounds
Coil and magnet yoke for a 30-inch hydrogen bubble chamber to be used at Zero Gradient Synchrotron. The chamber, built by Midwest Universities Research Association (MURA) at Madison, Wisconsin, will be installed inside the coil. Water-cooled laminated sections of copper conductor make up the coil. The MURA chamber, will be available to all users of the ZGS on the basis of the scientific merit of experiment proposals submitted. The determination of such merit is made by a program committee which has been appointed from among the members of the Argonne Accelerator Users Group.
