II: Buildings and Grounds
An early "aerial" view of the University of Chicago probably photographed from the chimney of the old Power House. Snell Hall and part of Hitchcock Hall are in the left foreground. Stagg Field's old wooden stands surrounded by a wooden fence (torn down in 1913) are behind them. Kent Chemistry Laboratory is at the right; and, Jones Laboratory is now situated on the two tennis courts seen in the right hand corner.
