New Chronic Disease Hospital of the University of Chicago Clinics, at the southeast corner of Drexel Avenue and 58th Street, which will be dedicated Wednesday, July 12, 1961 at 11 a. m. The three-story, 104-bed hospital, built at a cost of almost three million dollars, to be devoted to research and treatment of the chronically ill, resulted from an affiliation of the Chicago Home for Incurables with the University.
