Corinthian Expedition 6
III: Events
Oscar Broneer, who led the University of Chicago expedition to the Temple of Poseidon at Corinth, seated in a bathing tub. Measuring about a yard in length, the tub was carved from bedrock and lined with cement. The tank at the left contained water, which would be poured on the seated bather who would sit on the step at the head of the tub.
