Marble statue, circa 2nd century C.E., thought to represent the goddess Kore-Persephone. One of nine pieces found at Ptolemais (Ad Dirsīyah or Tolemaide) in Libya by an expedition of the University of Chicago's Oriental Institute led by director Dr. Carl H. Kraeling.
