Title | World War II |
View | Rifle Marksmanship 1 |
Series | III: Events |
Description | Rookies go through awkward maneuvers as they try to adjust rifle strap loops for the arm in firing position. Loop holds the left arm firm when firing. This trick mastered, they aim at targets and score imaginary bull eyes with invisible bullets. Riflemen must score 180 or better out of a possible 200 to obtain an expert medal, and a surprising number of these students will accomplish just that. The class is held at the Field House of the University of Chicago. |
