Series | VII: Chicago Maroon |
Description | University of Chicago president Hanna Gray offers coaching advice to Maroon football players Frank Baker (no. 35), Neal Cawi (no. 57), and others at the "Monsters of the Midway" competition. The event, a fundraiser for the Special Olympics sponsored by WGN Radio, pitted a team of Chicago Bears players (coached by owner Michael McCaskey) against a team of University of Chicago athletes (coached by Gray). After completing a series of offbeat physical challenges, the winner will claim the title "Monsters of the Midway." |
