Description | Members of the University of Chicago football team hold up signs at the start of the "Monsters of the Midway" competition, a fundraiser for the Special Olympics held in Henry Crown Field House. The event, sponsored by WGN Radio, pitted a team of Chicago Bears players (coached by owner Michael McCaskey) against a team of University of Chicago athletes (coached by University president Hanna Gray). After completing a series of offbeat physical challenges, the winner will claim the title "Monsters of the Midway." |
