Description | Demonstrators file past the White House wearing placards inscribed with the names of American soldiers killed in action, and those of destroyed Vietnamese villages. More than 45,000 attended the March against Death, which was organized by the New Mobilization Committee to End the War in Vietnam. They marched from Arlington National Cemetery, past the White House, to the Capitol, 13-15 November 1969 (3rd of 5 photographs). |
