Description | Having applied for airline hostess work, Betty Shimmin, a University of Chicago senior from Kankakee, learns from Trans World Airlines (TWA) hostess Ardyce Dean how to prepare a tray for serving a meal onboard a transport plane. Miss Shimmin and other college seniors are able to start careers in aviation since Trans World Airlines (TWA) no longer requires a registered nurse's rating because of the wartime demand for nurses. |
