Director Robert Redford (center) at a University of Chicago benefit which raised $50,000 for the Norman Maclean Scholarship Fund. A former professor of English at the university, Mr. Maclean's semi-autobiographical novella, "A River Runs Through It," was adapted for the screen by Mr. Redford. From left: B.
